Tramadol-F HCI 100 mg Capsules are a medication that is used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain in adults. It is in a class of medications called opiate (narcotic) analgesics. They work by altering the way the brain and nervous system respond to pain. This medication comes in immediate release tablet and can be taken up to 6 times a day. Tramadol-F HCI 100 mg Capsules can be taken either with or without food. Tramadol 100mg also comes in the form of a slow-release tablet. Dosage

Dosage will depend on your level of pain and how you react to the medication. Your doctor may start you on a low dosage and gradually increase it to find dose that works for you. Directions

Before taking Tramadol-F HCI 100 mg Capsules, make sure your hands are dry and remove the capsules from the packaging carefully. Do not force them through the foil packaging. Place capsule on your tongue immediately. You should try to take the capsules at the same time every day. Swallow whole with water.

Side effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur. But if they do occur they may need medical attention.

When taking Tramadol-F HCI 100 mg Capsules consult your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Less common

  • Abnormal or decreased touch sensation
  • blisters under skin
  • bloating
  • blood in the urine
  • increased blood pressure
  • blurred vision
  • change in walking and balance
  • chest pain or discomfort
  • chills
  • dark urine
  • difficulty urinating
  • dizziness or light-headedness when getting up from a lying or sitting position
  • fainting
  • fast heartbeat
  • frequently urinating
  • gaseous abdominal or stomach pain
  • indigestion
  • irregular heartbeat
  • loss of memory
  • numbness and tingling of the face, fingers, or toes
  • pains in the arms, legs, or lower back, especially pain in the calves or heels upon exertion
  • discomfort and pain in arms, jaw, back, or neck
  • pains in stomach, side, or abdomen, possibly radiating to the back
  • pale, bluish-colored or cold hands or feet
  • recurrent fever
  • seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there
  • seizures, severe cramping
  • severe nausea
  • sweating
  • severe redness, swelling, and itching of the skin
  • stomach fullness
  • swelling of the hands, ankles, feet, or lower legs
  • trembling and shaking of the hands or feet
  • weak or absent pulses in the legs
  • yellow eyes or skin

Incidence not known

  • Agitation
  • confusion
  • heavy coughing
  • darkening of the skin
  • diarrhoea
  • difficulty swallowing
  • dizziness
  • fever
  • hives, itching, skin rash
  • irregular heartbeat, recurrent
  • loss of appetite
  • mental depression
  • nausea
  • overactive reflexes
  • poor coordination
  • puffiness or swelling eyelids or around eyes, face, lips, or tongue
  • restlessness
  • shivering
  • talking or acting with uncontrollable excitement
  • tightness in the chest
  • twitching
  • unusual tiredness or weakness
  • vomiting

Seek emergency help immediately if any of the following symptoms of overdose occur:

  • Change in consciousness
  • decreased awareness or responsiveness
  • difficulty with breathing
  • lack of muscle tone
  • light-headedness
  • loss of consciousness
  • pinpointed pupils of the eyes
  • severe sleepiness
  • slow or irregular heartbeat
  • unusual tiredness

  • cracked, dry, or scaly skin
